Cryogenic treatment
Racks used in galvanic treatments are subject to wear and tear like any other material. In order not to face the production costs of a new framework and to avoid waste, A.G.B. guarantees a quality regeneration service. The first step of recycling is the cryogenic process through which the paint on the racks is stripped off.
The product is immersed in liquid nitrogen (-196 ° C) to fully remove the residual layer of plastisol.
Racks stripping for galvanic treatments
During the immersion of the rack in the liquid nitrogen tank at –196 ° C, the plastic coating of the product is completely removed.
The thermal shock provoked and the consequent splitting of the PVC weaken the plasticization which is then subjected to an accurate intervention. This cleaning phase is crucial to proceed with the following rack recycling operations.
Rack regeneration treatments
Following the cryogenic stripping, the framework can be subjected to repair, re-plasticizing or remaking of the worn metal components. The staff assesses the specific conditions of the piece and talks with the customer to understand its needs.
The in-house workshop carries out the necessary structural work and the required surface finishing treatments. All rack recycling operations are carried out in full compliance with the quality standards and agreed delivery times.
